BU Power Systems GmbH & Co. KG is a company of BU Power Group GmbH and as an industrial service provider responsible for sales and after-sales service of Perkins diesel and gas engines in Germany, Italy, Poland and the Balkan region as well as from FG Wilson power generators. Perkins and FG Wilson are Caterpillar Group companies.

With customized engine solutions BU Power Systems offers the optimum power units for industrial, construction, agricultural and material handling and marine engines. Around 100 employees at five locations across Germany ensure that you receive professional product advice and comprehensive service for all your engine needs. What is distinctive about BU Power Systems is our steady pursuit of growth and our readiness to meet new challenges with optimism.

Today’s BU Power Systems emerged from the company "Motoren Bücker & Essing" which was established in 1963. The company compromising a 7,700 square metre plant, has its headquarters in Ibbenbüren, North-Rhine Westphalia. The storage area for the comprehensive range of pallets of engines, generating sets and original parts by Perkins and FG Wilson amounts to approximately 5,500 square meters.

Since 2005 BU Power Systems is an appointed Perkins dealer with exclusive distribution rights for the German, since 2008 for the Polish and since 2011 for the Italian market. Since 2012 BU Power Systems is the official Perkins and Perkins Marine Power distributor for the states of former Yugoslavia (Slovenia, Croatia Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo) and Albania.

Perkins is one of the world's leading suppliers of diesel and gas engines in the power range 4 to 2,000 kW. FG Wilson is one of the world's largest manufacturers of generator sets in the power range 10-2200 kVA.
